Hi everyone! Could you help me understand the grammar in the phrase: "The sun goes down. I feel the light betray me" (that's from Linkin Park's song "Papercut"), so I can't understand why there's "the light betray me" instead "the light betrayS me"? If it's Present simple, we must add "-s/es" to the base form of the verb for the third person singular (the light), right? Explain that to me, please.🙏
