Although the book is about money, it includes a lot of really interesting discussion points on everything from education to family relationships and self-awareness to business. Each week you will be asked to read a few chapters before the lesson, we will then meet and discuss the ideas in the book and share our own experiences and advice. The book is easy and quick to read, and is suitable for B2 levels and above. We will read the book over 6 lessons. In the lessons we will: 1. Hold deep and meaningful conversations based around the ideas in the book 2. Study useful vocabulary and collocations & practice writing (optional) How It Works: READ: Each week you read the appropriate chapters of the book BEFORE the lesson THINK: Each week there are questions about each chapter for you to think about and make notes on. We will discuss these questions in the lesson. SPEAK: Join the lesson and discuss the chapters that we have read. SHARE: Join our online community for interesting videos, deep discussion and extra materials related to the book. WRITE: There is also an optional writing task to complete each week. You can submit this to our Google Classroom. This is lesson 5 (there are 6 lessons in total). I recommend joining all of the lessons but I realize that may not be possible. These lessons will give you valuable practice in all 4 skills - speaking, reading, listening and writing. Reading is one of the best ways to improve your vocabulary, engage with the language on a regular basis and build a consistent studying habit. During the lessons you will need to reference information from the book and paraphrase the author's point of view in order to support your own opinions and ideas. Additionally, you will need to communicate and work together with the other students in order to complete the tasks set by the teacher. I believe these lessons to be a truly worthwhile purchase since not only is this a great book but you will be incorporating several language skills around a topic which you are interested and invested in.
