This group lesson is for adult English students (B2-C1) who want to debate a specific topic and learn new vocabulary + phrases with a professional teacher and other students from around the world. We will start with a warm-up activity, read a short text, and review new vocabulary. After, students will be given debate prompts and placed in breakout rooms to prepare their arguments. Students will then present their arguments in the main session. At the end of class, we will review the corrections taken during the class. After a student signs up, the text for the class will be accessible for download. It's best to read the text before joining the class. ***Please note: This group class is for students with a level of B2-C1 English. The goal of this lesson is to debate a specific topic in a small group, expand vocabulary, and improve the student's confidence as an English speaker in a relaxed and fun environment. Since this is a conversation class, I encourage each student to speak openly with other students. Ask questions and share your opinions! Due to this being a group lesson, students will not be corrected individually. Instead, collective corrections will be noted and sent to each student at the end of the class.
