Per le prossime vacanze Jimmy ha organizzato un viaggio in solitaria: farà il giro d’Europa. Partirà da Venezia con il treno ad alta velocità e arriverà a Milano, città in cui non è mai stato. Trascorrerà il fine settimana lì per visitare i migliori musei della città, il palazzo Sforzesco, la Pinacoteca di Brera e il teatro La Scala.
Poi proseguirà per Torino e infine raggiungerà Aosta, da dove partirà per il monte Bianco. Per una settimana farà trekking in montagna, mangerà cibo nuovo e si godrà i bei panorami del monte più alto d’Europa.
Da Aosta raggiungerà la Svizzera: vuole visitare la città multiculturale di Ginevra e poi si recherà in Francia, a Parigi. Ha deciso che affitterà un piccolo monolocale a Mont Martre per vivere il centro artistico della città. A Parigi comprerà un biglietto aereo per volare Oltre Manica e raggiungere la bellissima Londra. Andrà a trovare la sua famiglia per qualche giorno: gli mostrerà le foto del suo viaggio e gli racconterà della sua vita a Venezia. Da Londra volerà in Germania, andrà a visitare il muro di Berlino e poi noleggerà una macchina per andare a bere birra a Monaco di Baviera.
Da Monaco di Baviera è facilissimo tornare in Italia: basta prendere un treno per il Trentino e in poche ore sarà sulle Dolomiti, dove passerà un giorno di relax alle terme prima di tornare a Venezia.

Here are some key ways to use spoken discourse markers during the IELTS Speaking exam:

Starting Your Response: Using markers like "well" or "actually" can give you a moment to collect your thoughts before answering a question. For example, if asked about your favorite hobby, you could begin with, "Well, I really enjoy painting because it's relaxing."

Organizing Ideas: Words such as "firstly," "secondly," and "finally" can help structure your response when explaining something in detail. This makes it easier for the examiner to follow your ideas.

Clarifying and Rephrasing: Discourse markers like "I mean" or "in other words" are useful for clarifying points or rephrasing if you feel your initial response wasn’t clear enough. For instance, "In other words, I think traveling teaches us valuable life skills."

Filling Pauses: Using phrases like "you know" or "let me think" can fill pauses naturally, preventing awkward silences during your speaking test.

However, it's essential not to overuse discourse markers, as it can make your speech sound unnatural. Practice using them in moderation to sound fluent and confident in your responses.

このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。


今週の月曜日にアジア旅行から帰ってきました。
約1か月の旅行中で、4つの国に行きました！

シンガポール
マレーシア
ベトナム
タイ

です。

今回のPodcastでは、タイの良いところをあげます！


・食べ物がおいしい
　おいしい食べ物がたくさんありました！　

ソムタムーパパイヤのサラダ

カオマンガイーゆでた鶏肉とジャスミンライスの料理

ガパオー鶏肉、バジル、野菜とジャスミンライスの料理

パッタイーライスヌードルを卵や魚介、野菜と一緒に炒めた焼きそばみたいな料理

カオニャオマムアンーマンゴー、ココナッツミルクと砂糖で炊いたモチ米、それにココナッツミルクがかかったスイーツ
　　
　などなど、いろんな料理を食べましたが、どれも美味しかったです！

　場所によってはとても安く食べることができました。

・言語がやさしい音
　少しだけタイ語を勉強していたからかもしれませんが、マレー語、ベトナム語よりも音は聞きやすかったです。そして、語尾が特に柔らかい印象がありました。日本語のそうやんなぁ、みたいな音で、サワディカー、とかコップンカーなど、日本人にとっては優しく聞こえる音の言葉でした。

・電車が安い
　タイの電車は日本の電車のように整っていました。VISAのカードで改札に入れるのでとても簡単でした。それから、路線も難しくなく、わかりやすかったです。並んでいる人たちも、きれいに並んでいました。何よりも運賃がめっちゃ安いです。たぶん一回乗って行くのに日本円で¥100もかからなかったです。1時間以上乗る場所でも、¥150かからないぐらいでした。交通費はとても安く生活できます。

・お辞儀など日本に似ている
　最後は振る舞いに関してです。信仰度合いは違うと思いますが日本もタイも仏教が広く浸透している国だと思います。それが理由かはわからないですけど、お辞儀をするのは日本と同じ感じでした。またありがとうという時に、丁寧に伝える時は手を合わせたりしていたので、これも日本と似ているなと感じました。日本よりもそういう振る舞いを大切にしているようにも感じました。

#348 アジア旅行、タイについて！

こんばんは！Atsushiです。
11/4も大阪の実家に泊まっていました。

11/4の昼は、久しぶりに奈良に行きました。
ということで、今回は奈良の観光について少し話しますね！

奈良は世界遺産がとても多いので、海外から日本に来られる人にとっては、魅力的な場所のうちの一つですね。

日本の世界遺産は、2022年11月の時点で全部で25カ所あります。これはまた別の機会に紹介しますね。

今回は奈良の世界遺産について。
大きく2つあります。
1つ目です。
日本で1番初めに世界遺産登録されたのが、奈良の
法隆寺地域の仏教建造物
ほうりゅうじちいきのぶっきょうけんぞうぶつ

です。

法隆寺地域には世界最古の木造建築が数多く残っています。法隆寺は、700年代のはじめに建てられました。
これらは、日本にはじめて仏教が伝わった時のものです。

今から1300年以上前の建物たてものがまだ残っていると思うと、ちょっと信じられないですね。

2つ目は、
古都奈良の文化財
ことならのぶんかざい

です。

たくさんあって大変なので、有名な場所だけ説明しますね。
東大寺とうだいじ
春日大社かすがたいしゃ

などがあります。
全部で8コの場所があります。

710年から奈良時代、というものが始まりました。
この時は仏教が大きな力を持つようになり、政治への影響力も持つようになりました。文化もこの時期に発展したので、奈良には寺などが多い、ということですね。

奈良の世界遺産だけになりましたが、次のPodcastでは、今回僕が行った、東大寺などについて話しますね。
