Mutfaktan Gelen Deyimler 

Today's piece of vocabulary is "to strike a chord", which means to cause someone to feel sympathy, emotion, or enthusiasm. For instance,
"the issue of food safety strikes a chord with almost everyone"

Don't forget that "strike" is an irregular verb, so in the past tense this becomes "struck", as in "your speech really struck a chord with me".

Japanese daily life podcast のAtsushiです。
このPodcastは、日本語を勉強しているみなさんに向けたPodcastです。


北海道旅行の話の続きです。

1日目は千歳から帯広まで車で移動しました。
180キロを3時間ちょっとで移動しました。

そして、1日目はホテルやAirbnbではなく、道の駅、というところで車中泊をしました。

道の駅、というのは、日本の普通の道路ぞいにあります。
特に地方など移動距離が長い場所にあります。

最近は車中泊をして良い道の駅もあります。
1日目は帯広の道の駅で車中泊をしました。

車中泊ができる道の駅は、とても安全で安心です。
24時間使えるトイレがあります。
ライトもついているので、暗くなくて安心できます。

僕たちははじめて車の中で寝ました。

ちょっとつかれるかなと思っていましたが、思っていたよりも快適でした。しっかり寝ることもできました。

そして2日目です。

朝は早めに起きて、近くのスターバックスに移動して、少しゆっくりしました。平日の朝、人が少ない時間にスターバックスでゆっくりできるのはとても好きです。

気持ちがいいですね。
