O pronome Te é chamado de pronome pessoal, ele corresponde a segunda pessoa do singular de um verbo - Qual é a segunda pessoa do singular? É o Tu , se você conjugar o verbo Falar, a primeira pessoa, Eu falo, segunda pessoa, Tu falas. Terceira, Você/ Ele/ Ela fala. O pronome Te pode ser direto - quando não precisamos de preposição, ou indireto, quando precisamos dela. Vou dar alguns exemplos de Direto, primeiramente: 1- Eu te respeito - pois quem respeita, respeita alguém, sem a necessidade da preposição. “Se usarmos a terceira pessoa do singular, seria Ele a/o respeita (informalmente, na língua casual, nós utilizamos de uma outra forma. Ele respeita ela)”. 2- Eu te encontrei (pois quem encontra, encontra alguém, sem preposição). Se usarmos a terceira pessoa, seria Eu a/o encontrei - informalmente, na língua casual, do dia a dia , nós falaríamos. Eu encontrei ele). 3- Agora, darei o exemplo de duas frases, uma frase somente na segunda pessoa e a outra, na terceira para você perceber a diferença. Ontem, encontrei contigo e te convidei para jantar. Uso na segundo pessoa - pois você tem o contigo e o te, os dois pronomes estão rimando. Ontem, encontrei com você e lhe convidei para jantar. Uso na terceira pessoa - pois você tem o com você e o lhe - na língua formal , na escrita, pois na língua falada, provavelmente, nós misturaríamos as duas frases, ou seja, nós falaríamos: Ontem, encontrei com você e te convidei para jantar! Em alguns livros, você perceberá que é possível colocar na frente o verbo no início das frases, como: Encontrei-te! Só que no português do Brasil, não usamos essa versão na fala, somente na escrita para dar um pouco mais de embelezamento no texto. 4- Ela te procurou (pois quem procura, procura alguém, sem preposição) Mas, caso seja uma procura emocional, se tiver valor afetivo para o sujeito, pode levar a preposição “por”.
