Odia is the language of Odisha on India's eastern coast, a neighbor of Bengali with which it shares much, and a neighbor of Telugu to the south. Odia-influenced English is less often described than Bengali-influenced English, so this lab is partly hedged, but the main tendencies are clear and in one respect they are the mirror image of the Bengali lab: where Bengali pushes "s" toward "sh", Odia pushes "sh" toward "s", so "shop" becomes "sop" and "she" becomes "see".
