Hi! You’re listening to the 111 Tips for Learning a Language Podcast. This is episode 2. Relax and be in your comfort zone as I present to you today’s tip. Why do we learn a language? We all have our reasons. What is your main reason? Simply put what motivates you to learn this language? We all know what drives us to learn a language. Rarely though we capitalize on the main reason we are learning the language. For example I am learning French because I want to spend my summer vacations here. This is the main reason which motivates me to learn French. Once I am clear about my main reason for learning French, I will concentrate on tourist vocabulary phrases to practice informal conversation with the locals. I will learn simple sentences so that I can make friends with the French and be understood by them. Aspects of the French language like the technicalities of grammar and writing would not be important for now. Once I narrow down my learning motivation, I become fluent quicker in what I really want to accomplish in the first place. The first milestone of getting one aspect of the language done is the one which always inspires me to learn more. Think about it. What is your main reason for learning a language? Is it for the perfect holiday, work, leisure, cultural or business reasons? Concentrate on one scope and expand on that area first. Now, I will leave you to it. "Badai pasti berlalu" adalah peribahasa yang punya arti, 
masa-masa sulit yang dialami oleh seseorang tidak akan terjadi selamanya, pasti punya akhir. Setelah itu akan ada perubahan atau keadaan yang lebih baik di masa depan. 
Di Bahasa Inggris, artinya "The storm will pass", di Bahasa Jepang saya sering dengar 
嵐が過ぎ去る 。
Kalian percaya peribahasa ini? Saya percaya.

Hi everyone, I am Sara and this is Persian made EZ, episode 3.

“Khabar” and its plural form “khabar-(h)ā” is the news in Persian.
So we say, “che khabar?”, or “che khabar-(h)ā?” to say, “what’s the news?”, “what’s new?”, or “what’s up?”.
 
To this we often say “salāmat-i!”. 
Salāmat-i means health, and in this context we use it to say, “not much!”. 

We can also respond to “che khabar?” and “che khabar-(h)ā?” with, “hich-chi(z), salāmat-i!”, literally, “nothing, just health!”.

And then we can ask, “to che khabar?” (informal), or “shomā che khabar?” (formal/plural), and “to che khabar-hā?” (Inf.), or “Shomā che khabar-hā?” (frm./pl.).
