It Just Happened: Accidents vs Doing It on Purpose | Spoken Malayalam #154
Описание
In English, "I broke the glass" is the normal way to confess, even if it slipped from your hand. English speakers translate it directly as ഞാൻ ഗ്ലാസ് പൊട്ടിച്ചു (njaan glaasu pottichu). In Malayalam that can sound as if you broke it deliberately, perhaps in anger.
In this episode:
• IT BROKE vs I BROKE IT
• More happening and doing pairs
• Lost and not found
• -poyi: it ended up that way
• Owning a mistake politely
• Language bridge
• Practice
• Self-check questions with answers
