Intellectually, I admire (to?) Nassim Nicholas Taleb because I consider his ideas truly outstanding. Perhaps it is because of my background in physics where, usually, important systems can be successfully described analytically (at least approximately -Taylor series) or solid computational simulation methods exist, but I believe Taleb has recognized serious issues related to applying mathematical models to overwhelming complex systems such as the economic and social ones. Moreover, his writing style is enjoyable and accesible to non savant-young people like me (or myself?) Cheers!
