In a lesson about phrasal verbs, my student and I discovered several in Queen songs! "If I'm not back again this time tomorrow- carry on, carry on!" (from Bohemian Rhapsody) "The show must go on!" (from The Show Must Go On 😂) Both of these phrasal verbs, "to carry on" and "to go on", often have the same meaning. Choose the correct meaning in the quiz below! Then write any other phrasal verbs that you’ve heard in songs in the comments :)
In the Queen lyrics ""If I'm not back again this time tomorrow- carry on, carry on!" and "The show must go on!", both the phrasal verbs "to carry on" and "go on" mean:
to continue
to stop
to repeat
