The second sentence sound proper or formal the first is informal.

Both sentences are correct. The first one is more British English

18 ноября 2020 г.

Or, it's been five years since I last saw him

20 ноября 2020 г.

Both are wrong. It has been five years since I've seen him. Is correct

20 ноября 2020 г.
