No! I'm adding languages #6 and #7 at age 67. The tough part is maintaining proficiency. If it takes 4-5 hours per week for each language, that adds up to a lot of hours! So for right now I'm letting French, German, and Spanish slide for a while.
It is a great challenge and lots of fun. Each new language is a new way of looking at the world!
Now being truly fluent-- that is my dream. But for now I'd be delighted to reach b2 level in each language.
