For my children it was like a celebration. They thought it maked Santa :-) They were waiting snow a whole year. And today it was happened!

For my children it was like a celebration. They thought it was (?) Santa :-) They were waiting a whole year for snow. And today it happened!

Not sure what you meant about Santa.

For my children it was like a celebration. They thought it was like Christmas. They were waiting for snow for a whole year and today it finally happened!
