When I was a child, my father often asked me to make tamago-yaki which is a Japanese side dish and similar to an omelette. He always said that tamago-yaki I made was the best ever. I forgot this memory until I saw this topic. I’m gonna make tamago-yaki for him when I go to my parents house next time.

make tamago-yaki for him next time that I go to my parents' house.
That was pretty much perfect! 'Next time' can used as a conjunction like when, so that's the only change that I would make :)
