It was a rainy day today. After school, I was excited to find that my microscope had arrived. However, I must admit that it didn't quite live up to my expectations. I had envisioned something as simple to use as an amplifier (an amplifier tends mean part of a stereo music system), but it turned out to be a lot more complex. The image it produced was vague and blurry, sometimes it didn’t focus at all, and I couldn't seem to achieve clarity no matter how much I adjusted the larger folded lenses. It seems like I still have a lot to learn in order to handle this microscope effectively. Also, I'm feeling frustrated because I am unable to identify what I am looking at. (Don’t you know what you have put under the microscope?) Are these blood cells? They don’t look like the diagrams in my book.
