Hi, there Does it sound odd to use “next thing...” in this sentence? “I already made you a cup of coffee and brought it over to you, now you want me to out sugar in it for you? Next thing you will be wanting me to hand-feed you” Thank you!

Next thing sounds fine. I think you have a typo in the sentence before it, the word out should be put, “put sugar”.
