Of course those older girls made advantage from us, but we didn’t think about it, we just loved spending time with the horses.

When I was 10 years old, a friend and I went to an entertainment park. Some older girls allowed us to lead the horses while small children rode them. Of course, the older girls took advantage of us, but we didn’t think about it. We just loved spending time with the horses.

I recommend the famous book English Grammar in Use by Raymond Murphy. It is excellent for self study.

That must have been existing to lead the hourses... You did a good job using past progressive and simple past.👍 🤞🙂
