Could you please write a sentence that has "come up against" in its literal meaning, like while dryving I came up against a fallen tree?

To come up against something means to face a particular problem or obstacle. Here are a few examples:
- "The work is being delayed because we came up against some unexpected problems"
- "Sorry I haven't been in touch recently, I've just really come up against issues at work the last few weeks"
Also, to come up against somebody means to compete:
- "Tom will come up against last year's champion in the semi-final of the competition"

We came up against a great deal of resistance in dealing with the case.

I'll go along with what Pierre says, but it isn't something I would ever say. If I was driving and came to a tree that was blocking my way, I would say
"while driving, my way was blocked by a fallen tree".
Or, if I merely saw the tree but the tree was not blocking me, I would say
"while driving, I came across a fallen tree".

As per Pierre’s examples.
I would suggest ‘came across’ in your sentence.
Also check spelling driving not dryving.
