The overcast weather left me feeling drowsy all day. Aside from a short reading session with Dad, I didn’t do much else. Mom spent the afternoon helping my aunt pick up my cousin from school—poor him had to wait until Saturday to leave! Later, she stopped by MeeMaw’s, but things weren’t great. MeeMaw was still restless and irritable, which I know comes with chronic pain, but it’s hard to watch. I wish I knew how to comfort her without making things worse. For now, maybe giving her space is our only option.
