The board game I play most definitely is the chinese chess. This game is very similar to anther board game called chess. Both of them have a board with different characters on it. Chinese chess has 32 characters in two colours. Each of the two players has 16 chacters. The 32 characters involves one general, two advisers, two elephants, two horses, two cannons, two chariots and five soliders. Each kind of characters has special rule to work, but each of them can be really powerful. For example, a solider can't do anything besides defending on its own side, but if it corss the river in the middle of the board it can kill any characters in step ahead of it. All the characters have the only purpose is to kill the enemy general and protect their own general. If one of the generals killed, game over! The most interesting thing about chinese chess is its diversity. Different people have different habits of managing their character. some people really like to use cannons and chariots to kill the characters in a long distance, but others like horses to walk in a zigzag way to kill the characters by a suprise. So, a professional might be defeated by a beginner. It's really fun! This game tell us a truth that you can deal with the changing things with a steady mind. Just let the event develops for a while, then decide what we should do to get the final victory.
