So we would say ‘I bought some food to cook for lunch’ and ‘we cooked a lot of food’. We would say ‘at lunch’ or ‘during lunch’ instead of ‘in the lunch’. You may say, "AT lunch, (means time of day) many relatives came to my house." Or "many relatives came to my house FOR lunch" because it says both WHY they came over, and automatically implies WHEN they came over. Although you can say "many delicious foods" it sounds more native to say "a lot of delicious food" or if you want to hint that there were many different types of food, you can say "many delicious dishes/entrees/recipes."
