Whisk is a verb describes a circular motion in a bowl used to combine ingrediants together or to incorporate air. It is also the name of the cooking utensil. To froth something is to form small bubbles at the surface of something, commonly milk.

Whisk means move quickly or stir eggs and cream very fast, so that they become full of small bubbles. Froth means a mass of small bubbles.

Here is an example: When someone cooks eggs to put in sushi, they usually "whisk" the eggs before cooking them. When someone makes a coffee drink with foamy milk on top, they usually "froth" the milk before they pour it on top of the coffee. Good luck!
