Please help me correct this little text about what I did today:
1. We usually put adverbials of time in the middle of sentences.
2. The term for "take blood test" in Chinese is "验血" instead of "做血液测试".
3. I don't understand "中城市", so I assume it's "central city" and that means "市(city)中心(central)".
4. "Your mother drive to the hospital" and "you have a blood test" have no causality. A simple sentence that describes your mother drives to the hospital for the blood test would be OK.
5. The measure word in Chinese is complicated. I couldn't explain it properly. But "a pair of sunglasses" is "一 副 墨镜". Same with the "酸奶,面包,三文鱼,荷包蛋,胡萝卜蛋糕". You will get better by keep practicing.
6. In China, we don't have brunch. Though "早午餐" is a proper translation, it is not idiomatic. I think lunch would be OK since it's not breakfast. Or you can just say "Then we ate something in the restaurant(然后我们在饭店吃了些东西)".
7. Replace "也" with "还" is more idiomatic in this sentence. And "吃一周的" is not a proper expression. You wannna say "We also went to the supermarket to buy food enough for a week", so it's "我们(we)还(also)去(went to )超市(the supermarket)买了(to buy)一周(a week)的(of)食物(food)". Maybe "a week of food" doesn't make sense in English but it make sense in Chinese. Chinese and English has different logics.
8. "Now I'm at home(现在我在家)" is not idiomatic. "Now I'm back home(现在我回家了)" would be better. Same with "我妈妈就开车了去她的家". Your mom drive back to her(她) own(自己) home, so "自己" is better than "她".
