It was sunny today. To celebrate my birthday, my parents took us to a resort villa. It suited Dad perfectly – he loves drinking and barbecuing poolside. Mom joined in the fun, dumping a big bunch of mangosteens, a southern favorite, into the pool! Before dusk, Dad was already drunk, floating amidst beer cans in the center. Honestly, it felt like his party. Despite that, we all had a blast.
