Hi bro, both are actually incorrect. There's many ways of saying that sentence though, a few.. In order to make the meeting, I took a taxi. I took a taxi to get to the meeting on time. I took a taxi to the meeting. Depends what you want to stress. 👍

Pavin gave some good examples. Your second sentence could be be easily corrected like this: I took a taxi in order to be in time FOR the meeting.

2 things: you can't be "in time" - its "on time" and you, the person have to be in relation to the meeting somehow- "I took a taxi to be "ON" time "TO" the the meeting"
