Why would you say such thing? You should be motivating me now not the other way around. A: If you don't read and practice a lot, I don't see how come you even dare think you can nail a high score on IELTS. Yes, it's good. I just gave it a little fine-tuning to make it sound more natural. The only real mistake was in the first sentence: "helps" should be "helped" because A was asking about something that happened in the past.
