I prefer airplane because it's speed is faster

I prefer airplanes because they are so fast. When speaking generally we usually use the plural: airplanes, trains, buses. We could also use the superlative showing that among all forms of transport, travel by airplane is fastest: I prefer airplanes because they are the fastest (way to travel).
