I speak the same way they speak in my CDs (Northern accent). I don't have a choice.
Since you are from Vietnam, it might be better to speak like those around you. I heard some Vietnamese can speak Cantonese, so it seems the southern accent will be easy to come by for you.
Asking "which one is better?" is not really a good question when it comes to accents. It is, after all, a matter of opinion.
