Properly Use 'What' 'Why' And 'How' In Japanese

In American public schools, students often learn how to ask questions with the 5 Ws + How. That is, who, what, when, where, why, and how. In this particular article, I'd like to focus on 'what', 'why', as well as 'how', and explain the necessity of Japanese particles 'wa' and 'ga'.

Thank you for the detailed explanation and examples, Misa. As an English teacher, embarking upon this journey of learning Japanese has brought about a new appreciation of the challenges faced when learning another language. It has also given me insight into where some of the grammatical structures my Japanese students try to use originate!

With much appreciation,

みささん、記事くれてありがとう。いまでも私に助詞がちょっと難しいですからよく間違えてしまいます。例えば、外国人に~んだの仕方は複雑かもしれません。

Misa, can you read my newest Notebook entry? There may need to be some simple editing, the post I entered is a piece of writing from my Independent book that I published.
