I uploaded a file to FTP and I want to send e-mail to consumer for information.
Which is true?

or
File was uploaded

They're both correct .
"The file was uploaded."
In this form, you are saying that once the file has reached a certain CONDITION, you will take action.
"The file has been uploaded."
In this sentence you are saying, once our "be" reaches a certain condition, we shall take appropriate action.
btw...there's no difference in meaning.
