Are you looking for a PERFECT partner by blindfolding your own imperfection?

I just read this small story which made me smile:)

There was a man who remained a bachelor his entire life because he was in search of a perfect woman. When he was 80, someone asked him, "You have been traveling the whole world-- Delhi to New York, New York to London, London to Rome, Rome to Paris... but how come you could not find a perfect woman? Not One? You must be lying!"

The old man replied with a smiling face, "Yes, of course, I came across a perfect woman!"

"Then why didn't you ask her to be your life partner?", asked the curious man.

The old man replied, "I did, but she was looking for the perfect man!"

What do you think about this "looking for perfection" attitude despite knowing the fact that we ourselves are not perfect?

An insightful story. Perhaps the lesson is that we need to be the perfection that we seek.

Charles Han, take a deep breath and take a stroll, for example. I am not sure if my question was taken in a perverted manner, but if you did take it in that way, that's your responsibility. :)

It is more like a series of cycles between cause and effect. We were taught When you love a person more, the person will love you more in response. It goes the same for a frequently asked question: Which goes first?  A chicken or an egg? I believe when you know how to love yourself more,  Mr./Miss right would come out soon and love you as good as you love him/her afterwards. You may nurture each other.   

However, the definition of perfection would be taken seriously.
