GOOD NEIGHBORS I reside in a neighborhood where I have routine contact with four neighbors in that I converse with these neighbors--in person and telephone.  I reach out by telephoning these neighbors routinely and more often than not I receive calls from the neighbors but the rest of the neighborhood is invisible.  I put a book exchange in front of my house and the books are exchanged but I rarely see anybody at the book box .  Our neighborhood is vulnerable to fire as We Californians are suffering from a drought and  the neighborhood connection is very important so I inform Neighbosr Gene and George of my whereabouts should I need to be informed of any crisis.  I have a food exchange with Neighbor Lisa so she knows my whereabouts, also.  I WORK at connecting with neighbors and wonder how others feel about their neighborhood; and I consider myself a good neighbor since I continue to reach out to those who are approachable and respect those who wish to remain invisible.  I am on this site to help others with their English as I strive to improve my Spanish and do appreciate the opps offered here.  Thank you, itaki
