Hi, you probably can seek some articles that interest you and your language partners before the practice. With these topics, you are more likely to have a happy conversation with other language partners.

I always try to look for common topics and teach something each time, but sometimes it was tough for me.
Moreover the person's personality looks nice, I hesitate to refuse talking to them.
To be honest, it is really boring..
