Hi evereone! I have a proposition for Italki team! Why do not try to make the minimum interval betwen lessons not 30 minutes but less, for example 15. A teacher will be able to schedule lessons for themselves with the ability to take short breaks between lessons. There are breaks betwen lessons at any school . It is too hard for a teacher to give three or more lessons in a row. A teacher will restore his strength during the break, be able to prepare for the next lesson. It will give a positive effect on the learning process. Please let me know what do you think about it.
I also think it makes more sense for Italki to make it the standard that an hour lesson is 50 minutes of class time followed by 10 minutes of break. I have seen teachers try to do this, but the platform does not support them in publishing this clearly. If sometimes teachers do not need the break and want to donate a few extra minutes that is their choice.
I work in a profession in which the traditional hour is 50 minutes with the client and 10 minutes to do paperwork and recover before the next client. It has always seemed unfair to me that people expect teachers to go back to back lessons-- that they provide a full 60 minutes, hang up, and instantly do 60 more with another is not realistic expectation for highest quality of engagement.

Italki is a very popular site but it has a lot of bugs and stupidity.

Another important advice is to replace Skype with internal video streaming system
It's not an issue but It will make disputes unnecessary.
I think Italki's developers are not interested in our opinion.
I had asked them, They promised me that asked feature will be in a new version but it is missed.
