There are plenty of annual cultural and religious festivals in Iran. Sizdah bedar is one of them.

🌾🌾Sizdah Bedar in Iran 🇮🇷through most of those celebrating Nowruz in other states have already “Bedar” their “Sizdah” over the weekend. Traditionally Sizdah “13” Bedar is the day that Iranians spend the whole day outdoors, rain or shine! This day of celebration is filled with music🎶, dancing💃, food, drinks, and soccer games “footbal”⚽️. Some even bring their backgammon boards “Takhteh Nard” and take pleasure in lots of “Rajaz Khoni” (predict the dice🎲rolls, to exagerate one’s skills and impending wine) while sitting on a blanket, sipping their tea☕️ and enjoying the fresh air! This is also marks the day that Sabzeh Nowruz is thrown in a creek for good luck; unless the furry members of the family discover them first(swipe to sea)🌾🌾
