There are countries in North Africa and West Africa that were colonized or partially colonized by the Spanish, where Spanish still has some official or semi-official status and or is still popular as a second language (you can find a list and relevant articles on Wikipedia). There are also Ceuta and Melilla, two tiny Spanish colonies surrounded by Morocco. The Canary Islands, off the Coast of Africa, belong to Spain. Generally, however, Portuguese is the most famous Iberian Romance language in Africa, especially southern Africa. Of course, with the internet, anybody anywhere can study any language they want. Do you have something specific in mind?

The only African state that has Spanish as official language is Equatorial Guinea: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Equatorial_Guinea.

Today there are two cities surrounded by Morrocco which are Spanish - Ceuta and Melilla. Before 1950's all northern coast of Morrocco was Spanish. The biggest current Moroccan city which was Spanish is Tetouan. Before 1960's Equatorial Guinea was a Spanish colony. Western Sahara was also their colony in the past. Now it's administrated by Morocco too but in opinion of UN Miroccan presence in Western Sahara is illegal.
