I don't think it has to do with culture, but one's behavior in different surroundings.
I personally am influenced by company of people around me and talk with them in their language.
I am not sure if it's right, but I communicate with people in the language, that they understand.
Moreover In my opinion proportional use of swear words helps us to emphasize our thoughts and feelings, but again, not in every company.
As for the real life, the younger people the more swear words they use.
At my workplace swearing is a regular and usual thing and sometimes I let myself go, but never do it at home or in the company of my friends or women.
Elena, if what you meant is that those, who widely use swear words are all bad, shallow, uneducated and indecent, I disagree with you.
This kind of generalization doesn't always work for everybody.
There are loads of well educated, well rounded and f*****g polite bastards out there.
