Best guitar players from your home country? Hi everybody, I'm a guitar player from the U.S. and am looking for the names of some of the best guitar players (in your opinion) that have lived and played around the world in countries other than my own so that I can look them up on youtube, become influenced by their music, and hopefully create a sound of my own so that I can have a place among the great ones one day. I like blues and rock and roll best, but appreciate other types of music as well. Thanks for your help!

@Sawyer Just checked out both of those guys on youtube. What country are you from? This is part of the sound I want.
@Karlinni Santana is great, and your advice is good as always. :-)

Those are the only ones I've had time to look at so far, but I'm not done yet!

I think Tom Abella is one of the best of Colombia. I agree with Karlinni about Santana at the level of Sudamérica, but you can look at Walter Giardino too
