I don't have a favourite Spanish accent. I usually book my classes with teachers from different Spanish speaking countries so that I can be familiar with the different ones.

My favorite accent in Spanish is Mexican Spanish. I love the sing song speech of the Mexicans.

As for my favorite Spanish, I prefer Guatemalan Spanish. In my experience, Guatemalan Spanish is the easiest Spanish to understand. It is very clear and is spoken at a slower pace than other Spanish speaking countries. I have studied Spanish in Guatemala, Mexico, Chile and Costa Rica. I have also had teachers from Spain, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Argentina. I work with students from all over Latin America and I find Caribbean Spanish from Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic the most difficult to understand.
