I like the fact we get points for being good and helping others out and i always try to help more people which makes my points go up but i was wondering wouldnt it be nice if points had another use.To make them alot more rewarding

Since we earn points for free; I think Italki would ge broke to gave us ITC's for them!
However, they could make it more elaborate to create a sense of achievment that gets you more addicted. You know, like you could 'level up'. You could become a 'trusted member' or a 'guru' or something at some point. Perhaps you could become a VIP and gain access to an exclusive VIP forum where you can post videos for correction or something. Perhaps you can only ask a certain number of questions for a given answer you provide. But I think all of this would make us care more about how many answers we provide than how good they actually are; I like it our current dynamic better: if you don't have something useful to say, you don't say anything. If you do have something to say, though, points give you that extra incentive you might need to beat laziness.
