It has nothing to do with gender. What's wrong with having some pride? Being proud doesn't mean, necessarily, you look down your nose at others.

I think man are more conceited becuse they don't want their ego  to be hit because they will become very angy. Their ego is important to them since men is a symbol of strength. Woman were created more humble, caring and loving.

There are a lot of men that I know who are conceited. They are nothing but talk just to make themselves look good. When it comes to girls who he thinks they like him, getting his ideal dream car, or mail ordered bride. People like that...I don't respect, I see them as assholes. I'm not conceited myself, but still I am better than them lol. I don't know have a definite answer for women...

Pride goes before the fall, doesn't it?
