What book was real strange, but you anyway read it?
Boris Vian. I know, people consider him trendy, but still his 'Foam of the Days' seemed very strange to me.

The weirdest book I ever read was "The Clothes They Stood Up In" of Alan Bennett.
Actually every book written by him is very weird! I love its humour and its absolute lack of amiability!
