Every Chinese child knows pinyin... that's why it's good. I can learn it and still communicate with it. 

Pinyin is bad, the Wade-Gilles system is better for writing chinese in latin charatcers

It's in a man's voice which will be good for men trying to learn pinyin as there are so few of them on youtube where there are many women. I also really like that you can choose which sound you want to hear instead of having to listen to them all like you have to in videos. In that way you can go just to the "problem" spots. 

He does pronounce some of them differently than my partner though. Do you know what kind of accent he has?
