For me the discussion feature is the single most important part of forming a community here. It is the place where I get to know interesting people and choose the ones I want to communicate with. I think removing it would be a disaster. No one is forcing you to participate here.

I can't understand why the messages function still hasn't been fixed. The last three messages I received were four days old by the time I got them. This has been going on for months.

I would like to be able to customize my dashboard so I can add or remove features. I especially resent having the Articles feature default to the top-level, forcing me to scroll down and click to see the Social tab. None of the articles are ever about the languages I am learning, so it is just a pain in the ass I have to navigate every time I sign in. Let me choose to have the Social tab on top.

I just would like to make it clear that I like the "Discussion" feature because of having discussions with others. That's fun. On the ohter hand, it does not help my English, because I do not ask anybody to be corrected in a discussion and I do not want to be corrected in a discussion. When I want to be corrected, than I create a "Notebook entry", or I ask a question via "Answer" feature or I schedule a session with a teacher/tutor.

Btw. I do not remember any discussion or a comment in a discussion saying: "please, correct my comment". I do see that only when reading notebook entries.

So, I see only two options for the "Discussion" feature:

1. Only a native-speaker should be involved in a discussion. 

2. Remove the "Discussion" feature. - I think it costs extra money for italki as a company to keep that feature running. It does not bring money them, and it's even useless for language learners.

I would ask for something opposite. I would ask to remove the "Discussion" feature. In my own experience, it does not help me to improve my English because I do not get corrected there. It's useless for learning English and a bit risky. You may pick up some errors from other learners like me and not being even aware of that. That's also my experience. Even though I like it, because it is fun for me having discussions with other people. ...but to be honest, it has nothing to do with learning English.

1 It would be nice if you could search discussions, notebook entries, answers and many other things and not just people. 

2 You can only add eight foreign languages. Some people speak more than that and they can't show it

3 The cambridge English test should be for free. There is no reason to pay

4 When you someones sends you a message and you read it, normally this message "disappears" and you don't see it again on the homepage. But I usually get many messages I just can't read, because when I click on it, it just doesn't work and I keep seeing this message on my homepage and I can't read it, it's annoying

5 And especially I wish I could use the classic Italki again. The person who made the new version and the one who will close the classic one, doesn't know what he or she is doing because Italki will have less users ):

Footprints, mention, and a "quote" option. 

A tool to upload pictures in discussion section or correction box. 

Also, I want to open a link directly without copying and pasting it!
