Business English is different and uses more vocabulary related to business and finance related. It is used when talking about business in any business environment in general.  This is referring to terminology such as assets, liabilities, balance sheets, capital, liquidity, stocks, share, basel, depreciation, etc.

General English is self-explanatory and used mainly for colloquial and casual conversation. I wouldn't necessarily say Business English is more polite than General English.

A person can still be polite if they know basic courtesy and respect.   For example, Hello, Thank you, Please, You're welcome, etc.
