Teaching is a very noble profession and very fulfilling one too if you are an honest & sincere teacher but there are cheaters among teachers too. So I do not find the logic of Nacir becoming a teacher as good reason/argument, but then he is known for his humour of various shades. This time probably it did not come through well :) I am sure he must be a sincere & honest teacher if his numerous posts/notebook corrections here are any indicator!

I did not become a teacher as I thought I would not be able to be patient enough with different shades and levels of students! So hats off to you all sincere teachers. My sincere respect to all teachers who taught me sincerely & patiently and to all other sincere teachers of the world as well.

Regarding the teachers who do not do their job sincerely & honestly I only have to say that black sheeps are there in every profession.

I didn't want to become a cheater, so I decided to become a teacher.

sometimes i think it runs in the blood my parent s were educators as well as my two sisters. I took up psychology, been through different fields but ended up teaching and i guess its the most fulfilling job i have ever had. 

It's so nice to know you're so passionate about teaching ever since you were little. We need more teachers like you! I can't say the same for myself since teaching kids is too terryfing for me...all I see is the traumas I'd cause them and the futures I'm going to ruin....and the parents who get pissed off when you're too candid with inquisitive kids..!

Being a teacher is a great way to share knowledge with others in a specific field and it is also an everyday challenge and satisfaction to contribute to people's progress. If you have a passion, dare to teach it to get better and better at it !
