Features of coronavirus
You can read in this article some interesting and probably reliable information about the features and structure of coronavirus and how to spread this virus. Are here anyone who is a little bit more familiar with the science? Exactly with the biology or virology? What do you think about it? Is it possible to find the effective antidote against this virus within reasonable time?

What can I say?..
World had a lot of horrable disease... One of the most common is Ebolavirus,  2014–20 Kivu Ebola epidemic (The disease has a high risk of death, killing 25% to 90% of those infected, with an average of about 50%). And now we have reported that the last focus of the disease has finally been eliminated. There is an effective treatment, a vaccine itc.
A century ago there was a terrible epidemic of influenza, for example,  Spanish influenza in 1918 (17–100 million deaths). All these diseases were successfully defeated.

Exactly that, that you have written. I'm interested in biology exactly microbiology (I'm a med student) and I hoped that in italki there are some people whit same interests and we can talk about scientific themes. I wanted to start a scientific conversation because I would like to improve my vocabulary of science. Thank you for the circumstantial answer.

What do you hope to discuss here? I see just only common words in the article.
Yes, the angiotensin-converting enzyme was found as the receptor for Covid19.
Yes it can be a target for some drugs.
Yes this protein of virus spikes can be potential vaccine (as natural one as recombinant analogue).
But we know only few really efficacy low molecular weight anti-viral drugs. All of them are result of many-years work and a big luck. We have to be ready to spend 3-5 years for development pro-drug panel , 3-5 years for screening the panel, 3-5 years for laboratory studies, 1 year for preclinic study, 2 years for clinical trials. And this is very optimistic estimate.
Other hand we know relative fast and most efficacy techniques:
development of vaccines (both inactivated virus and recombinant proteins based),
development of specific immunoglobulin (both from human blood and recombinant monoclonal).
These ways are long too but they have more predictable results.

Unfortunately I am not following articals about covid19. Maybe you know... Have you seen any information about cell lines which are sensitive to covid19?
