Module1- overview A- Emotional Intelligence (E.I) refers to the ability to identify, understand and manage our emotions and those of others. To improve our E.I. we need to be conscious of ours strengths and weaknesses. We need to Know who we are in the world. B- The emotional intelligence is very important in the learning process. E. I impacts everything in our lives. The students with high level of E. I. have better relationships with teachers and other students because they have better social skills. With a high E. I. we can understand better why we are not improving in our learning process, and we can manage better the frustration of a slower improvement and consequently we have a stronger self motivation. C - The audio is about the importance of Emotional Intelligence and how we can improve it. First the speaker says we need to really know who we are, we need became self-aware. And after, he gives 3 advice to improve our E. I.. we need:a) think first and only after speak, b)beware of our feelings, c) express ourselves. The article refers to E. I. in the learning process. The author began to say that E. I. impacts everything in our lives and then explain that E.I. is the ability to know our emotions and to be able to control them. He further adds that students should develop their E. I. before, during and after the period they are engaged in the learning process. Then the author gives 4 components of E.I.: in the learning context : 1-self-awareness- We need to now are strengths and weaknesses as a person. 2-Emotional control - we need to put our emotions under control 3-Self-motivation 4-Empathy With this information we understand that we really need to work every day to improve our E.I. because it will be a strong impact in our learning process and in all our lives.
