I can't remember anything before the age of 7.

In fact, I had no idea what caused it until one day I talked about it with my grandma. She talked with me about my childhood before age 7.

My grandma said that my parents often went to Singapore on business when I was little. (I was brought up by my grandma.) Therefore, my parents and I spent very few days together during the year.

Every time they came to visit me, my grandma said I was always quiet and well-behaved. When my parents left, I would sit on a chair at the front door, watching their car drive away. Mostly, I would weep alone after they left, and try not to bother anyone.
